Animals and Children

Let’s face it.  None of us can be as honest as an animal.  If an animal is frightened it will either freeze or run away.  Children need this kind of honesty in life in order to develop an awareness of their behaviour.  We need to be calm, considerate, and kind, in order for any animal to take us seriously.

Meet Bonnie.  She is the latest addition to our classroom at the MLG.  She has been specially selected for her easy going temperament and her hypo-allergenic hair.

Also, the children have access to our large yard filled with birds and many other animals. They have an opportunity to watch the way squirrels play, to see birds feed and fly, and to observe other animals that wander through the property.
